For Diane

It's SPRINGTIME here in Idaho
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles and hour
At thirty five-below
Oh how I love Idaho
When the snow is up to your butt
You take a breath of fresh SPRING air
And your nose gets frozen shut
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave my blessed Idaho
Cause I'm frozen to the ground!

Sunday, March 29, 2009 in Idaho. The snow no longer falls downward, it just blows by!

All sewn up

I finished my craft project for the nursery- a crib bumper and matching quilt. After hours of sewing it is all done. I hope Cole likes it!
Here is the final product

Here I am using Wendy's quilting machine- it's not as easy as she makes it look
Jared even got in on the quilting action...because I forced him to

Morris Olympics- March 2009

It was such a beautiful day we had to take advantage of it, especially with Laura & Chance in town.

Let the games begin!
Here are the judges of the archery contest

And the gold medalist is...Zach (hence the rock he's standing on)

I guess Chance was mad about not winning...Chance Amador was disqualified for bad sportsmanship, intentional violence, and fleeing the scene. Police suspect he is somewhere in Utah.

Winner of the high jump: Caleb

Winner of the biggest belly: Me. Here I am at 28 weeks with my sis-in-law Laura who is 16 weeks.

Here comes the Rexburg Neighborhood Watch!
Loaded: with a bun in the oven and a bullet in the chamber! Cole didn't even jump when we were shooting clay pigeons- OH NO!!! That may be a sign that he loves guns already like his daddy!
How was that shot girls?... 10/10

What a fun weekend! Can't wait to do it again!

Wow what a handy man!

That's right my handy man has woodworking on his list of skills. Jared has been taking a woodworking class at the college on Wednesday nights and this is the final product. I just love it and as you can see I didn't waste anytime putting things in it. It will be so nice to store all Cole's stuff. Thanks so much Jared- you are very talented!

Ta-Da!!!

Wanted to try and show the beadboard on the sides and inside

What Caleb taught me today...

Lesson #1- I may be little but I am quick. Take your eyes off me and I'll be down the hall in a flash! Auntie Krys- give me 5 minutes unleashed and I'll make you aware of everything in the house you need to baby proof asap!

Lesson #2- I make the decisions around here! Tio- what started as your playful peek-a-boo turned into me controlling when I choose to let you breathe let alone open your eyes. Jared would say, "Caleb you're smothering me let me out!!!" and Caleb would just shake his head no which Jared couldn't see- it was really funny.

Lesson #3- Monkey see- monkey do...do I need to say more. Auntie Krys will this look really help me get the ladies???

Lesson 4- Tio & Auntie Krys I can guarantee that little Cole is going to drive you crazy and at times make you want to rip your hair out, but it'll be sweet moments like this that will make all the work and stress well worth it, just ask my mommy!

It's about time

After some very persistent nudging by a nameless party I am posting the pictures she requested. Nothing too exciting, but I suppose some people (and by people I mean the coo-coo granny in the WA) will be happy to get an update. Enjoy!

Here I am at 6 months

After church it was such a nice day we went and brushed Guapo. He is getting so big!

Here he is all groomed- which way to the gun show? Nay!

This is our crib for the "people" that were dying to see it

Jared added mini-Guapo to the picture

We drove by the temple after church. Korey and Ashley notice the snow on the ground!
